This course is a basic overview of a large majority of the drivetrain and mechanics of the basic automobile. It is intended to instruct the unknowledgeable and amateur automobile owner. It is not intended to be a substitute for a college course in automotive repair but will assist you in getting to know the automotive repair industry. The impact of this course will be increased by as much hands-on contact as you can have with an automobile to practice what is taught in each lesson. This course also assumes little to no prior knowledge about automotive repair.
