Required Materials

If your child was in last semester's geology class they may continue using their three ring binder. If you are new this semester, you will need a three ring binder, notebook paper, and pencils. This semester we will also be using the student journals from The Good and the Beautiful. Every student will need a journal for their age. Please go to the following link and download the free coursebook and student journal. (You cannot download just the student journal, you must download both the coursebook and the journal.) When you have it downloaded, please print out the student journal for your child's grade level. The download is at the bottom of the page. You will need to put in your email address to get the download.

About the course

In Marine Biology we will be learning about whales, sharks, starfish, and other amazing sea animals. We will also learn about the oceans, sea currents, and other interesting facts about our vast oceans through experiments, class discussion, and videos.
