About the course
Does your child struggle with focus? Do they long for screen time? There is Research that suggests we are seeing a rising in numbers in issues with focus and ADHD symptoms partly because we are not engaging in enough physical activities to counteract the digital age we live in. MC2 is going back to the OLD school PE! Students will be doing 10 minutes of warm up stretching and exercises, 10 min of cardio and 30 minutes of a sport or skill. Students will be REQUIRED to participate if they sign up for the class. We can make reasonable accommodations but since we will only have 18 students so we don’t want to allow any students who are not willing to do the work. I can promise the exercise will be fun! We will be doing this class for two semesters and parents and students alike will see improvement in the child's physical strength, conditioning, and mental focus IF they participate!! We will also be giving the students weekly challenges to do at home and they will receive credit for that work and prizes for accomplishing goals! We will aslo have awards at the end of the semester! We will be doing this class 4th hour so it will be easy to go home and hit the showers!
