ABCs 123s is a fun, interactive class designed for toddlers to explore the basics of letters, numbers, and shapes through songs, games, and hands-on activities. This class fosters early learning skills while encouraging creativity, socialization, and a love for learning in a playful, supportive environment.

Get ready to create, explore, and express!

We will work on skills such as shapes, numbers, patterns, counting, adding and subtracting as students need them. We use manipulatives, games and worksheets. Some work is done individually and some is whole group.

Beginner sewing. We will work on various projects during the semester such as a pillowcase and bag. Students will learn/practice basic sewing on a machine, sewing on buttons, and some hand sewing. No previous experience needed.

Get ready to move, play, and learn the fundamentals of tennis and other exciting racquet sports! This beginner-level class introduces students to the basics of tennis, pickleball, badminton, and table tennis through fun drills, games, and skill-building exercises. We’ll focus on hand-eye coordination, footwork, racquet handling, and rules of play—all while encouraging teamwork and sportsmanship.

This class is typically a 9th or 10th grade high school class with heavy amounts of vocabulary. The students will gain an appreciation of the world around them as they discover the design of the simplest living things. This biology course covers the science and chemistry of life, ecology, cell structure and function, cellular energy, DNA, genetics, evolution, prokaryotes and viruses, protists and fungi, plant diversity and reproduction, plant structure and function, and the biology of various types of animals. We will be dissecting 4 specimens during the second semester of this class. Dissections include Earthworm, Crayfish, Perch, and Frog

"This course, combined with Biology I, is equivalent to one full year of college Biology and will familiarize students with solid College Level content. Prerequisites to this academically rigorous course are: Biology I.
The first module provides an organizational overview of the human body and homeostasis, as well as a general review of concepts such as: cell structure, protein synthesis, and cellular mitosis. Subsequent modules study: histology (study of tissues), integumentary and skeletal systems, skeletal system histology and movement, muscular system histology and physiology, nervous system, central nervous system, peripheral nervous system, endocrine system, cardiovascular system, lymphatic system, digestive system, respiratory system, urinary and reproductive systems.

Rather than providing a broad overview of British literature, this class will dive deeply into a limited number of great works, which students will read in their entirety.

This semester we will read Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. Students will need to begin reading before the semester begins. Syllabus will be posted after registration with the weekly reading schedule. We will discuss the chapters read each week in class and work on related comprehension questions. We will also create related crafts or play games each week.

Curriculum by Ramsey Solutions known for Dave Ramsey's Financial Peace University. Students will learn the money skills they’ll use now and for the rest of their lives so they’ll have a solid foundation when they’re out on their own. This course trades boring formulas and financial theories for time-tested principles, real-life applications and humor (yes, personal finance can be fun!). Topics include how to budget, save, avoid debt, invest, be a wise consumer and much more! Foundations includes engaging videos with finance experts who teach each lesson, reading material with standards-driven content, and educational information designed to meet various learning needs. Course includes workbook with 1 year access to teaching videos and student activities. Please notate that a hard registration closes off at end of registration. This is to ensure all registering students have the appropriate materials and to ensure proper licensing of trademark material. Thank you for your understanding.

This class will teach the fundamental skills of Graphic Design. Students will learn about fonts, layering, colors, images, how to use beginner graphic design programs and much more. This class does not require any special design program as the student will learn to use a website based program to design invitations, flyers, logos and much more. Photoshop is introduced for one class. They will be required to have their own personal computer that can connect to the internet, a iPad will not work but a chrome book is acceptable.

In this class, students will study nutrition, fitness, exercise, stress management,
disease prevention, substance abuse prevention, and understanding the body systems to enable them to make lifelong healthy decisions.

2 semesters IEW intensive course. Homework will be weekly.

A fun cooking class especially geared for elementary to preteen students, with easy recipes that we will do in class, and can even do easily at home.

Learn a new card game every week! We will use traditional and sepcialty decks of cards to learn teamwork and strategy skills.

Get ready to imagine, build, and test your skills in Lego Lab, a hands-on class where creativity meets engineering! Each week, young builders will take on exciting challenges using LEGO bricks to explore science, design, and teamwork.

Experience the thrill of discovery! STEAM is your ticket to hands-on exploration where you'll build, tinker, and experiment to unravel the mysteries of science, technology, engineering, art, and math.

A class focused on rhythm, movement, and music. Toddlers can play simple instruments, dance to various tunes, and engage in group rhythm activities that boost coordination and listening skills.

Young children will be supervised in a room where they can play or nap.

We will be exploring aspects of farm life. We will learn, through hands on activities about raising animals and crops.

Each week we'll learn how to fold paper into fancy creations, aka origami!

In this high school physics course, we will learn about God's world through exploring mechanics, electricity, and magnetism. Class will consist of labs, demonstrations, quizzes, lectures, and working problems.

Exploring homesteading and heritage skills that would've been necessary for pioneer settlers in the U.S. in the 1800's and 1900's such as food preservation and growing food with hands on activities. Activities in the past have included carding wool and exploring textiles, planting vegetables, milling grain for bread making, preserving fruits and vegetables and handling/learning about animals as well as hunting/gathering skills.

Students are encouraged to be physically active and engage in activities of their own choice during recess. This can include structured games, free play, or utilizing co-op equipment.

STEAM Safari: Exploring the African Savannah

Students will explore the ecosystems and biodiversity of the African savannah

This sensory play class invites toddlers to explore, create, and discover through hands-on activities that engage all five senses. From squishy textures to soothing sounds, each session supports early development, encourages curiosity, and promotes social interaction in a playful, nurturing environment.

We will start with a few basics for any students new to sewing, but will quickly move to working on learning through different sewing projects including piecing a quilt square and making something following a pattern.

Students will learn conversational Spanish basics- vocabulary and conversation.

Students will grow more fluent in conversational Spanish, and translation.

This class provides older students with an hour to work on their schoolwork. Students are expected to work individually and quietly so everyone can focus. Students should come prepared with assignments to work on - reading a novel, working on lab reports, doing math homework, etc.

It is Texas History. It will be fun. Some homework required for special projects.

Step into the spotlight! In this fun and engaging beginner theater class, students will explore the exciting world of drama through games, hands-on projects, and group activities.

Does your student think math is dry and boring? Do they struggle seeing how math is used in everyday activities? Well this is the class for them! This is “NOT” a math class will help your kids discover the beauty of everyday math and have them saying “We are doing math?”. I will hide math in activities like magic tricks, strategy games, art, baking, reading and much more. My goal is for your student to enjoy math a little more once they finish this class.

Step into history with Time Travelers, a hands-on, story-driven class where students explore a different time period each semester through engaging activities, creative projects, and interactive lessons.

Child led play including gross motor and fine motor skills.

Each week we will be learning about a different wild animal.

Students will learn about our wonderful world, its continents, bodies of water, and how it's all connected, all while having fun!

In this course, students will gain skills in the following areas: page design, publishing techniques, copywriting, editing, photography, graphic design, teamwork, and leadership skills. Students are responsible for producing their own yearbook pages which involves designing their own pages, taking the photographs for their pages, and writing all copy on their pages.
This class requires a full year commitment and is considered a pass/fail class for high school students. As long as your child participates and comes with a teachable spirit they should have no trouble passing. The class fee includes one free yearbook for each student who participates in both semesters of the school year.
