Strathmore 9 X 12 inch 60 sheet Drawing Pad / Sketchbook (Target $7- $10 ish)
Winsor & Newton Studio Collection Sketching Pencil 10 pc set
Set of Prismacolor OR Pentel Colored Pencils- (at least 12 ct.) ** can be more depending on student ability.
*** Class fees will be used to buy any and all mixed medium supplies needed to explore the multiple avenues of art listed in the class description.***

About the course
This is a serious Art Class! We will learn not only the elements and principles of art but also advanced aspects of art. We will delve into Color Theory, Color Harmony, and Color Design. This class will also cover the, "Why Art History Matters" question. Art Media we will be working with will encompass: Clay, Clay Foam, Craft Foam, Printmaking, Costume Design, Prop Making, Printmaking, Sculpture and Thermoplastics. Each Student will be required to turn in a sketchbook assignment each week as well as participate in the End of Semester Art Gallery Showcase.
