About the course
Teaching reading and phonics can be challenging. I am homeschool mom, but I did graduate from Pensacola Christian College with my elementary education degree and I love helping children learn.
This class will be designed either support your current reading program with enrichment and instruction or I will be using the Abeka phonics approach to teach reading and phonics. The Abeka program walks students through learning consenant sounds, short and long vowel sounds, teaching blends, three letter words, and then four letter words. Studens will next learn phonics special sound charts and learn how to analyze words and sound them out. Students begin sounding out words and reading so quickly. We will work at your child's pace.
