About the course
Step into the spotlight! In this fun and engaging beginner theater class, students will explore the exciting world of drama through games, hands-on projects, and group activities. We’ll learn the basics of acting, including how to use our voices, facial expressions, and body language to bring characters to life.
Students will also discover the behind-the-scenes magic of the stage as we dive into simple prop and set design, learning to create props with everyday materials and contribute creatively to the look and feel of our performance.
Collaboration will be at the heart of everything we do—from warm-up games to rehearsals—as students learn how to work as a team, support one another, and share the spotlight. By the end of the semester, the class will put on a short play to showcase their hard work, creativity, and growing confidence.
No prior theater experience needed—just bring your imagination and a willingness to try something new!
